Boy, I would like to have a tiny little bit of your spirituality. You do not swim, you are a deep water diver, who knows the beauty and danger of being deep down.
You are one of those the Church says that make the foundation of the Church.
Pray for us and the World.

Thank you! My books are one of my prized possessions. Reading is my favorite past time.

.
I said they were on my shelf, not necessarily that I am reading them.
any more just little dips of the toe at the edge of the water are all I can handle

back at the house, on the shelf closest to my chair

CS Lewis Out of the Silent Planet trilogy
Kirsten laverensdatter
complete Jane Austen
Peterson on birds (a picture book mostly but still the best)
Birds of Texas
Lymond Chronicles by Dorothy Dunnet
Bridge on the Drina

Goethe’s Faust - Parallel text in English and German
Scheisse! - The Reasl German you were Never Taught in School
Five Great German Short Stories - Parallel Text
German College Dictionary
Spanish English Dictionary
The Illiad
The Aeneid
The Suffferings of Young Werther - by Goethe
Crime and Punishment - Dostoevsky
The Short Stories of Dostoevsky
Steppenwolf - Hesse
Principles of Mathematical Analysis - Rudin (kinda out of place)
The Plays of George Bernard Shaw
The Koran
The Great Divorce - Lewis
Surprised by Joy - Lewis
A Grammar of Assent - John Henry Newman
The Rationality of Belief in God - ed. George Mavrodes.

So language and literature, then veering into theorlogy. My books bet oddly assortted as every year I must select which of my books I want to load up into boxes and take to college. Can’t take all of them. So at home I have much larger Dostoevsky and C.S. Lewis collections.

Imagination is not lacking to you.
You are a very creative person nevertheless you keep yourself on the meainstream, you do not go for wild dreams.
You love beauty and drama, both of them you realize are part of human life.
You keep a smile in face of adversity.
I saw the shop and I kept it in mind.

You bookshelf is small but it goes right to the center of Christendom.
You are a person of few but deep thought books which center on what is the nerve point (the center of life) of our Church.

Taking into account that is a small sample, I would say, a typical college sample, throwing the net to every corner, but with a special interest on German (very coloquial as well as literary)
