Rangueil Mass? What is it?

I was doing a search on Gregorian Chants and came across a term I hadn’t heard before: a ‘chanted Rangueil Mass’. Anyone know what this is?
 
Well I have personally never heard of a “Rangueil Mass” and cannot find such as thing on the web, but did you possibly hear the term “Requiem Mass”? If so, a Requiem Mass, is a Mass for the Dead, a funneral, or just Common. God bless you in your endeavours for holiness!

I don’t know exactly what it is, but apparently if you live in or near Normal, Illinois, USA you can attend it!

Doesn’t really help much though.

I think this is the same site I saw it on. Doesn’t look like they give any additional info on what it is, though.
 
Normal, Illinois is a bit far for me to make a personal exploration (although it would be fun). Perhaps, if no one comes up with additional information, you could ask the church via email. teamnewman@teamnewman.org

That would seem to be the case. It is evidently a musical composition by Dominican priest **Father Andre Gouzes. **

Rangueil, a location in France, is just the name given to this composition. “Rangueil Mass” is just a name like “Mozart’s Requiem” (except that the Rangueil Mass is meant to actually be used for a Mass.)
