I agree that Christians are persecuted in many places by many other religions, including Hindu’s. But the problem with islam is that it happens so often and is backed up by their quran. It is part of their faith to persecute us. And they refuse to face this fact. They do anything to avoid or justify the issue. It is islamic terrorism that is the major threat, not Hindu terrorism. I notice how the muslims are unconcerned with this woman and the rape. Somehow that doesn’t surprise me.

Why do Muslims feel the need to mount a defence of Muslims in these situations? Why not join us in unequivocally condemning such acts? From past experience I know this is hard for Muslims.
Why do Muslims have to justify evil acts perpetrated by Muslims?

Not really, people just care more about showing Muslims being bad than helping Christians. Note the complete lack of interest in the media or even these forums of how Christians are treated by Hindu extremists in India, despite it being much worse than what’s happening in any Muslim country.

How terrible Muslims supposedly have a great respect for Jesus and consider Him a prophet, so why the issue?

For starters when Moslems say they respect Jesus, they’re not talking about the concept of Jesus Christians know - because Christians know Jesus as God and Moslems believe our idea of Jesus is false. For them we’ve corrupted Jesus’ message, so for them, we’re not respecting Jesus. They thus believe they are.
