Can anyone help I am after a good book that deals with Rapture / End Times theories, in particular the Catholic interpretation of Revelation 17 (Babylon, Whore etc.) I have read that a book by David Currie is good however I can only guess that this book is now out of print for some reason? I am unable to find a reasonably priced copy anywhere. Does anyone have any other recommendations or suggest where I can purchase this book? Thanks in advance!

The Lamb’s Supper by Scott Hahn gives a Catholic interpretation on the Book of Revelation. It only scratches the surface, but it’s a good primer.

By in large, Catholics don’t worry about the end of the world. We don’t interpret Revelation other than to know that Christianity wins. We receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation to remove mortal sin and we receive the Sacrament of Eucharist to experience Heaven while here on Earth. 👍

You might check out the USCCB website and read:

the Introduction to Revelation: usccb.org/nab/bible/revelation/intro.htm

the footnotes on various chapters:

and on Revelation 17: usccb.org/nab/bible/revelation/revelation17.htm#v1

Feel free to ask questions in the "end times speculation thread"e have wide range of thought there…

I recommend ‘Trial, Tribulation and Triumph’ by Desmond A Birch. It is very well researched and totally faithful to the Magisterium.

Michael Barber’s Coming Soon is highly recommended by both Scott Hahn and Brant Pitre. I recommend it myself, for whatever that is worth.

Wow amazing! thanks for all the suggestions certainly a lot there to get going on! 👍
