It happens rarely: the anniversary of the Conception of Jesus and the anniversary of Jesus’ Death. Probably one of the most sacred of days, if not THE most sacred. Of course, when this happens, the Church celebrate the Annunciation (Jesus’ Conception) outside of Lent, but this IS the day. I love to consider and meditate on what this rare day means.
