Rarely seen photos of Fatima visionaries, Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco

The Virgin Mary appeared repeatedly to three children in Fatima, Portugal, in 1917. The children were 10, 9, and 7 years old. Doubt among Catholics about what was happening vanished after the great miracle of the sun which occurred. Now Fatima has become one of the greatest Catholic shrines.

The youngest children, Jacinta and Francisco, died several years later. They were canonized as Catholic saints in 2017. The third child, Lucia, died in 2005, 97 years old. As the pictures of her show, she became a Carmelite nun.
