Oh! I’m cut to the quick! I can’t believe you would say that about the man who invented reggae!

But I guess I can understand - you know who I can’t stand that everyone likes - Pink Floyd. And The Who.

Now see, you and I are opposite on that then. I’m a fan of Floyd. I loathe their early Syd Barrett crud but love the Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, The Wall albums a lot…I am a guitar player since age 12 and I’m a loyal Fender Stratocaster player. David Gilmore with Floyd is a loyal Strat user. He’s slow but his range, riffs, technique, just amazing. I’m not a huge Who fan but I will say their magnum opus album “Who’s Next” was just one amazing hit after another. That album is an endless chain of just awesome stuff. The other albums aren’t so hot. “Tommie” was ok. “That deaf, dumb, and blind kid----sure plays some mean pinball!” LOL…

I’m a progressive rock fan: Yes, Rush, Toto, Floyd, Steely Dan,Peter Gabriel, etc. I’m a huge Steely Dan fan. But I also like just good ole classic rock: Zeppelin, Eagles, ELO, Skynyrd, Beatles, Kiss, Eddie Money, Pat Benatar, Fleetwood Mac, etc. And I’ll even indulge in some metal as long as it’s Iron Maiden, some Ozzy or Priest LOL And of course I’d be remiss if I forgot to mention Def Leppard, Ratt, and the gang! :cool:😛

I’m just not into reggae really.

I’m already taken. My wife was a big Toto fan when we got married. She grew up just adoring them in the Philippines. She and I went to see them in 2007 up in Fresno in this intimate little concert, got to shake hands with Bobby Kimball, my wife shook hands with Steve Lukather (my guitar idol!) and they were just amazing. It was a blast. I am a Toto freak LOL

I went to see ZZ Top in concert once. They were kind of awesome.

I don’t know why I don’t like Pink Floyd. They just don’t move me. 🤷
 
Hey, don’t make fun of Toto now! David Paich, wow. You should read his discography, seriously! Go do it. He’s written or sessioned for hundreds of hit albums. He’s a genius. Steve Lukather is a guitar icon and an accomplished session wiz. Jeff Porcaro was considered one of the world’s greatest drummers before he passed away. He was all over different albums, especially sounded awesome on Steely Dan stuff. Then Bobby Kimball’s vocals, classic. What a great band.

ZZ Top…LOL…Eastern Orthodox hardrockers. Pretty perverted dudes. Just find out what “Pearl Necklace” means and you’ll do a double-take on those guys! LOL 😛

Wait I have found one. But they seem to be counting almost anyone who was a bit odd. I am not in agreement with some of their analysis. But nonetheless, I will make my own diagnosis and vote for Sherlock Holmes.

Yeah sometimes historical analysis can be a bit weird.
