Raymond Brown and inerrancy

it is my understanding from a conversation i had that raymond brown does not hold inerrancy of scripture in not only historical matters, but also of religious. how does he try to square his teaching away with the magisterial teaching on inerrancy?
 
thanks for the link! how does fitzmyer compare to Brown? i don’t know too much about him and what his views on inerrancy are…

he said many many times that even whether or not everything can be proven from scripture, he accepts holds and teaches what the Catholic Church teaches, because the teaches it and it is true. an example is the virgin birth, which is pointed to but not directly proven from scripture, yet is a truth that must be believed because the Church teaches it.
