This may have been discussed, already, but I’m new. So humor me.

This news item tells of a man who has researched the question and has proved that the internet is the beast of Revelation. It also claims that the Catholic Church has conferred full knighthood on the man in recognition of his work.

prweb.com/releases/2005/12/prweb326401.htm

What do you think?

Ha! Talk about sensationalism on that website:
The book includes a pertinent autobiography; a definitions page with some new words; the original ten page proof; the Warning; emails to and from the Vatican; and a picture of Mrs. Randolph Hearst getting on a horse. Also included is the entire Third Secret of Fatima; the 2007 LHC (Large Hadron Collider Particle Accelerator) that will make black holes which will help to prove the existance of Heaven; Antichrist; Holy Spirit Encapsulation; Virtual Reality E-Knights and Sir Daryl’s amazing Private Revelation that led to this book.

Quotes Grand Knight Michael Delfino, “Profound achievement. Comparable to the discovery of the New World.“

Retired Protestant Police Detective Scottie Carvel said, “Breese really nails the Beast, this evidence would probably support a conviction in a court of law.”
Those last two quotes are too good to be true. It’s got to be a parody.

What gets me is that the guy has joined the K of C and is using that to lend credence to his theory. Anyone who knows the Knights can recognize this, but what about the poor souls who have never heard of the organization? They are going to be fooled into thinking that the Catholic Church hands out knighthoods the same way the Queen of England does.

Did he legitimately join the Knights of Columbus? I would think (or at least hope) that they would not allow themselves to be used like this.

No Knight of Columbus I know runs around calling himself “Sir Knight” outside of a 4th Degree assembly meeting. My dh is a Sir Knight, so I know what I’m talking about. This guy has got to be bogus. I can’t believe the Knights know anything about this person nor would they endorse him if they did.

Is that not the case? What about the Papal Knighthood of St. Gregory the Great?

This looks like the work of Calbreese, a CA forum member who has a singular obsession with this particular “theory.” Looking over the website, in fact, leads me to conclude that Calbreese and this “Sir Knight” are one and the same. The fact that he plays hard and fast with some of the “endorsements” and quotes on his page leads me to not give much credence to anything else he says on this topic.

Sounds like something from Dan Brown’s Angels and Demons (the pre-quel to The DaVinci Code).

I don’t think I’ve ever heard that story. Could you enlighten me? 😃

It’s not a story–just one of the Orders of Knighthood given out by the Vatican, “like the Queen of England”.

I have to run to work, but here’s a site I found. Didn’t have time to check it out thoroughtly tho:
