I so can’t believe this… The internet the beast!!! Hahahahha that is too much!!! Who here thinks the intenet has a soul? Who thinks it is a living being? The internet is a form of communication. It is a tool by which we obtain information. It is neither good nor evil, it can be used for good or for evil, it can be used by those who are good or evil, but it cannot BE good nor evil.
While I am on this rant…I will even go so far as to say that there are those who consider that we are in the age of information, to those I will say I disagree…what comes before an age? what came before the industrial age? The industrial revolution…I submit my brothers and sisters that we are in the information revolution not the information age. When we have conquered and regulated and legislated the internet to death in our minds…then we shall see who has won the revolution.
Who am I to say this? I am the Director of Information Technology at my company…The internet is a tool I use, a goal I acheive and a bane of my existence most of the time…but not evil. Now AOL…they are evil…(waaaaaa haaaaaaa)
