Here is something I cannot understand. Jesus started the Church and handed the keys over to Peter to lead the sheep.
Now the Pope is in the RCC and always has been. If the RCC is not the one true Church why is the Pope there, and how can he prove Apostolic Succession from every Pope from Peter down?
I guess what I am asking what Pope left what Church to enter into the RCC if it did not exist. How did the Pope get there and when? Because history can trace back the Popes to the Original Church that Peter started and the Pope has a direct link to Peter. And from what I can see in History it has always been the RCC led by the Pope!
