Congratulations to my fellow RCIA members!!! The rite of election has passed and We are now elect! I hope we all had a good trip to our local cathedrals! We are almost there!

Prayer to you Timmy and all others who are heading towards the Easter Vigil and full communion.

Treasure this time. Learn from it. Grow from it AND in it.

Lent is a grace-filled time for all of us, and we are praying for you.

God Bless.
🙂

Thank you and congratulations back to you and all the others as well! The Cathedral was packed. What a lovely service. Afterwards our Bishop generously let himself be used as a prop for our photographs with him. He is such a good one! 😃 Thank you Marie 5890 it means alot! We are doing our best!👋

Our Bishop came up to our parish. He was supposed to travel throughout Maine today, but he cancelled going up north though. We have one of the most awesome Bishops around, he’s very informal and friendly. Can’t wait for Easter though! 👍

The Rite of Election was so moving and I very much enjoyed seeing our beautiful cathedral church and meeting the Archbishop. I was already so looking forward to Easter Vigil before but of course am even more excited after today’s experience. Congratulations and blessings to all my fellow RCIA members!

Congrats everyone. The Rite of Election in my Archdiocese is not until March 4.

I feel bad because I didn’t go to the Cathedral afterwards. By all accounts I “could” have but I chose not too u_u We had our RCIA class first, then Mass where we did the rite of sending (at least our parish version of it) then we went to dismissal where we talked about the gospel and talked about the cathedral but one of the other candidates (im a catechumen) wasn’t going, and our parish deacon (great man) who is also my sponsor (again great man) was unable to go, and my family was having family and friends over for daytona today and the Cathedral was an hour away and I made excuses to myself why I couldn’t go u_u I kind of regret this to be honest. I know it isn’t “mandatory” but encouraged and I felt such a high from the Holy Spirit today all through the class and especially at Mass, I felt better then I have in a long time. I missed out on meeting with the Bishop though 😦 But keepin my eyes on the prize. Easter Vigil here I come!! God Bless all my brothers and sisters joining the faith and those of you who are so gracious as to receive us and encourage/support us! God Bless you all! 👍

I was there last year. It’s awesome to stand up and “be counted” among all the other catechumens and candidates (our archdiocese sends both). It’s really amazing to see how many converts there are. And our archdiocese is pretty big, so we had one at the cathedral, and two more at parish churches. So the whole time I was thinking, wow look at all these people who have answered the call of the Lord, and there’s two more huge churches full of them!

Prayers for all those coming in to the church. Easter Vigil is an awesome experience!!!

Prayers for you and all the Elect & Candidates.

I am a Godmother / Sponsor for my sister’s 2 children who were received in the church 3 years ago, and to stand up with them (and my aunt & uncle who also served as sponsors) was a great experience.

It was a fantastic Ritual & my heart is filled with excitement. Each day we get closer to Easter. 🙂

Praying for all of you!

Best regards to all! I agree with the posts above. I went yesterday to my rite of Elect here in Montreal and it was a beautiful ceremony. Best music i ever heard, singer had the most angelic voice! It was amazing the numbers of people that are flocking to the church. Somebody in RCIA said that in the Americas it was 150 000 people going through the rite of initiation.

Congrats to All, Home is just around the corner!! 🙂

Cheers

Thank you all so much for your prayers and support! As a protestant seminarian it has been a long journy home. Your prayers have seen me and others through. Thank you!
We are almost home!!
