Our 30 year old daughter went through RCIA this year and is being baptised, confirmed and making her first Communion tomorrow night.

I’m so happy and prod of her.

Just wanted to share.

I’m so happy for her.

I am doing the same tonight except for baptism, and I’m 72.

Congratulations to all Catechumens and Candidates! Welcome home!

What Confirmation name did you choose for yourselves when you were confirmed?
I chose Theresa, after my mom’s given first name. Her nickname was Tess.

I chose St. Hubert or Hubertus, same St.

He was an avid hunter early in life, as I was, he was a metal worker, as I was, and was converted later in life, as I have been.

Sorta fits me, right?

My daughter chose St. Apollonia because she has a lot of orthodontic problems and this Saint is the patroness of dental problems. I like the name.
