Before I converted and was waiting for RCIA to start, I visited this site and found CAF confused me with information overload and a myriad of opinions.
I thought I would share the videos below as they were very informative, clear and a lot of my own questions were answered in laymans terms.
The first clip is a Q&A with Cardinal Arinze (former Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith) which was founded to defend the church from heresy; today, it is the body responsible for promulgating and defending Catholic doctrine.
It is the oldest among the nine congregations of the Roman Curia. Directly from Rome’s mouth so to speak. I connected with his character, I found him to be intelligent, simultaneously funny, straight talking and serious when required.
He address superstition, “Catholic” politicians who vote for abortion, mentally challenged receiving Eucharist, relativism, attending Protestant church services, kneeling/standing to receive Holy Communion, NFP, Swiss guards, liturgical dance, spiritual bouquets etc

The second clip removed all my doubts as to Mary and her role in the Church.
