Christ is Risen!

I wanted to share with everyone and to humbly ask for prayers.

I teach at a Catholic high school in Seattle and these past two years have been truly blessed. We had to begin an RCIA program on our campus as we have had a number of young men (its an all boys school) inquire about joining the faith. These boys are not part of parish so we are their faith community. We have joined forces with the Cathedral parish (as they are across the street and is our “parish”) and we began the program.

Thanks be to God our first two young men received the Sacraments at the Easter Vigil and we will have another young man who will be fully received into the Church on our schools Patronal Feast day (May 6th). We have three young men who will be received into the Church next Easter Vigil waiting in the wings.

My friends, it has been a humbling and grace filled experience. Please continue to pray for these young men and please pray for our school as we help to shape all of our students into being Men of Christ not afraid to stand up for the faith!

Prayers for them and for your wonderful work with them. Those young men are truly blessed to have you. God Bless, Memaw

I’m so happy for those who made their transition to the Catholic Church.
May more people be touched and come home

Congratulations to the young men who received the sacraments! It sounds like RCIA is a great addition to your school.😉

Amen! What a wonderful story to happen across. I will certainly pray for them, and you, and remember to give thanks for this wonderful news. God is truly great!
