I am starting RCIA in October. I was baptized in the Anglican church. Can I be confirmed at Easter vigil if I am not also being baptized?

If Easter vigil is the normal schedule at your parish, then yes. Welcome home!
During my entrance at Easter vigil 2008, I was baptized and at the same mass we had an Episcopalian couple and their children who were already baptized who were received that evening as well.
In fact I think I was the only adult baptized that night. But, I could be wrong.
I was a saint for at least 20 minutes.

It depends on your diocese and parish.
In this archdiocese we have been asked to keep the Easter Vigil only for those people being baptized. Many parishes ignore the request and use the Easter Vigil for everyone coming into the Church. In my parish we observe the request and people are received into the Church at other times.
Best thing is to ask your RCIA team how they do things in your parish.

Oh ok, well I guess I will find out soon. I only approached the Priest today, and just have to write out some personal details for him at this stage. I do remember him mentioning Easter vigil and saying I may be accepted into the church then if he feels I am ready, but I thought I remembered reading something here about baptized Christian not being accepted at Easter vigil.
Anyway hopefully I will be a Catholic soon, whichever way it happens!

In our Diocese we have both the baptized and unbaptized at the Easter Vigil. We bring them up at separate times but they all come into the Church at the vigil.

What is being taught now in the RCIA classes that I have have attended is the catechumens (unbaptized) are brought into the Church during the Easter Vigil (which was a time when baptisms were performed in the ancient Church) and candidates (baptized) can be brought into the Church and any other time when they are ready. A wonderful mass for a candidate to be confirmed at is Pentecost (possibly by the Bishop).

Since you were baptized inside the Anglican church, there shouldn’t be a problem. It will be accepted. You will need to provide a copy of your baptism certificate to prove your baptism. In my case, I had to contact my diocese to get a copy of it because I couldn’t find my original copy. It will take some time (a few months) to get it. I suggest you get working on that as soon as you can. Once the priest agrees to confirm you, there is some paperwork that your church needs to do and then it gets sent to the bishop. By having it already, you are saving everyone concerned a lot headaches.
Hint: if you only have a photocopy, try to get an authorized copy otherwise it may not be accepted. You can always provide that with a photocopy.

Congratulations on joining up with the RCIA.
I would ask the priest regarding the video-ing of you receiving the sacrament(s) as each church will have guidelines regarding video and photography. Most have no issues but will ask that people be considerate to others and/or restrict use of flash on cameras.

In our parish we do a video of the Easter vigil and give a copy to everyone that came into the Church that evening. They really love being able to relive and share their experience.

In my RICI class we had several that had not been baptised so they went first, and then there was two of us who already were baptised. We then joined them up from for our confirmation and first communion. It was the most beautiful mass I have ever attended. It was that night I knew I made the right decision and I was really home! I hope you enjoy your journey through RCIA

It depends on the policy in your diocese. It is actually recommended that baptized Christians be confirmed and receive first communion when they are ready, no matter what time of year that is, rather than be included in the Easter Vigil. But if that is the custom in your diocese, those preparing you will give you the information you need.

in this diocese the rule against video and cameras during any Mass is strictly enforced and there are standards for professionals who are taping weddings that they must follow, so unless your parish hires a professional to tape the proceedings and sell copies, the answer will probably be no.
