Hi everyone

Im from the Philippines and in our country we have a strong devotion to the saints and the Lord. Im interested in studying the Liturgy and Ive got myself a PDF of the GIRM. As I was studying the GIRM and observing how my parish does it I found myself asking questions which are not explicitly answered. My questions are:
  1. Is it lawful to omit the prayers of the Faithful during Mass to accomodate the perpetual/devotional Novena prayers after it?
  2. Is it lawful to replace the prayers of the Faithful with a devotional/perpetual novena prayers prior to the Liturgy of the Eucharist?
3 is it lawful for the Novena prayers addressed to a Saint to be prayed before the exposed Blessed Sacrament (whether in private /individually or public novena services)?

If not sure about the first two questions, but to answer your third question yes. My parish has a novena to their patron saint weekly, saying the litany in honor of that saint in front of the exposed Blessed Sacrament. In the month of May they have a Marian Novena, during which the Blessed Sacrament is exposed.
