Who breathed the scriptures? Not man… but God…
All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Timothy 3:16
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them. Isaiah 8:20
The scriptures “cannot be broken” [John 10:35]
The words of the LORD [are] pure words: [as] silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Psalms 12:6
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalms 119:11 [See many more references in Psalms 119]
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. John 17:17
So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17
Jesus Himself told us to, “Search the scriptures…” [John 5:39]
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Acts 17:11
For precept [must be] upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, [and] there a little: Isaiah 28:10
How many times did God, in scripture tell someone to “write”… God Himself even wrote…
I hate to rain on your parade, but
the Word of God is a man, not a book,
Joh 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being in him was life, and the life was the light of all people.
Heb 1:1-3 Long ago God spoke to our ancestors in many and various ways by the prophets, but in these last days
he has spoken to us by a Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom he also created the worlds. He is the reflection of God’s glory and the exact imprint of God’s very being, and he sustains all things by his powerful word. When he had made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
Six verses mention the New Testament. Four of those verses are referring to the Cup or part of the Eucharist.
You have taken many verses or part of verses out of context and tried to make them say what you want them to say. For example:
2 Timothy 3:16. The only Scripture written at that point of time was the Old Testament. And yes there are many prophecies of the coming Messiah in the Old Testament. And yes the early church read from the available scrolls every time the met.
Isaiah 8:20: You have really twisted this. Read the whole chapter. Isaiah is prophesying concerning the destruction of both the northern tribes and the southern tribes of Israel. And your highlighted phrase no light in them should be rendered shall have no dawn. Read the previous verses say from Isaiah 8:16 to the end of the chapter.
John 10:35. Jesus is not stating an absolute doctrine. He is contending with Jews who want to stone Him for blasphemy. He quotes Psa 82:6 where the psalmist calls judges “gods”. The context makes it clear that Jesus is saying that the Jews could call their judges “gods” and “children of the Most High”, but he couldn’t refer to himself as the “Son of God”. And Jesus referred to Psalms as being part of the law which as you know only the Pentateuch was considered to be the Law. There are other divisions of the Old Testament The Prophets major and minor, the Historical records (Kings and Chronicles etc), and the Poetical books, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon. Psalms is a book about praising God through prayers. Please don’t snatch portions of scriptures out of context.

John 17:17 You quoted a whole verse but you don’t know what it means. First part, “Sanctify them through thy truth”. Clearly He is referring to the Apostles. Earlier in his Gospel John quoted Jesus saying that He was the way, the truth…Oh and verse 1 of John’s Gospel refers to the Word. Once again the Word of God is a person not a Book.
John 5:39 Once again referring to the OLD TESTAMENT. He’s telling the Jews that their scriptures testify of Him and they will not believe them. You only quoted part of the verse and destroyed the context. You chopped it off.
Joh 5:39-40 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
Isaiah 28:10 Why didn’t you quote Isaiah 28:13? Because it didn’t fit what you wanted to say. Isa 28:13 Therefore the word of the LORD will be to them, ‘Precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little’; in order that they may go, and fall backwards, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
The commentators I consulted said this was referring to the Jews being taken into captivity and having to learn a new language.
Did not Paul say, “2Th 2:15 So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by our letter”?
