Readings at Wedding Service at Church

My neice has asked me to do one of the readings at her wedding service.
The selections she picked were from the Gospel of Mathew.
Is this allowable as there is not a mass?

Even at a wedding liturgy without Mass the readings are supposed ot follow the Old Testament, Psalm, New Testament, Gospel format with the Gospel read by the priest.

Yes, Sacramental Marriage is always a Liturgical action, Liturgy of the Word is always appropriate.

She should speak to her priest. We also did not have a Mass, but did have a Liturgy of the Word and were allowed to ask friends to do the readings, but it was in the format of OT, Psalm, NT, Gospeland as Phemie says, the priest read the Gospel.
 
I am a little confused by the tail end of the OP. Are all of the readings going to come from the Gospel of St. Matthew? If that is the case, the bride needs to revisit her options, as other posts have indicated that the readings (whether for a Nuptial Mass or the celebration of Marriage outside the Mass) need to follow the standard format. In either case, the OP is not to read the Gospel That is reserved for the priest and/or deacon.
