Calvin and Knox and Bucer favored a spiritual presence.
Zwingli, and Bullinger favored a symbolic memorial.

Bit more nuanced that this re: some of the ‘spiritual presence’ people. Lots of them wouldn’t set ‘spiritual’ up in opposition to ‘real’. Calvin seems to have a surprisingly intense concept of presence at some points; he just wants to avoid corporeality.Luther affirmed the real presence.
