Really don't want to fast

I’ve made a commitment to fast on Fridays, and just eat dinner. Please pray that Christ’s passion will strengthen me, because I really don’t want to today. I might do a regular church fast of 2 snacks and a meal, but it seems like I should be able to do this small thing
 
I will pray for you. Heavenly father, please help this woman keep her commitment to you, out of love of you.
 
Also, please pray for my friend who has just gone missing.
 
I pray that God strengthens your resolve and that He helps you fast. Amen.
 
Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Father, help our friend to know that private commitments are not binding. Help them to find a good Spiritual Director.

Stick with the ‘church fast’ its safer!
