Really need prayers! Please!

Our work truck died today and needs $6000 in repairs. We are already several months late on our mortgage (which isn’t even high) and our car payment is a couple months behind. We have a special needs 2 yr old and a 7 month old and my husband has been almost hired for a new job about a dozen times in the past 4-5 months but somehow something really crazy always happens and we don’t get the job.

I don’t know what we will do without a work truck.

I don’t know where we will go if we lose the house.

The car is super upside down (with sky high payments) and we are stuck with it with no option but to keep paying the payments for the next few years til hopefully we can refinance.

I know God is good.
Please please pray for us. Not only right now, but please keep up in your prayers bc we need a miracle. and this would be so small for God to fix. We just need to get out of this hole – find some work or catch a break. I don’t want to loose everything bc of a series of unfortunate occurrences that hit us in a row. ya know???

Please pray we will accept God’s will for us. Amen!!

I will pray for you and your family. In the meantime; I am sure you have talked with your parish about help? It sounds like you are someone who could benefit from some assistance.

I have thought about it, but I feel guilty taking when I feel like I should be giving to the church. We already rarely give much monetarily. 🤷

I can relate to your situation and am praying for you and family.

oh believe me i sympathize!

i think you may find that sometimes what looks REALLY bad can be a God send. If the truck is that bad off and payments are so high, you may do better to walk away (have it repossessed by the bank/dealer) and just save the money for a “new” used truck.

but what i think isnt the important part!

St Joseph, patron of fathers and workers, who supported his family, intercede for us and help us to support our families in this time of need. Amen

thanks for the prayers. The thing is, if we let it get repossessed they will sell it in auction and not get barely anything for it, then we are stuck making payments on what is still owed. And without the car. Not fun.
