Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it as it is in heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive
those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,and
blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and
at the hour of our death.
Amen

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end.
Amen

thank you so much everyone!! 🙂
:hug1:

Thank you SO much for your prayers everyone!!!

I can’t really believe it, lol, but I have an update! (already! praise God!)

For several days I’ve been struggling with this almost non stop… the only break was yesterday when I prayed the Rosary and Mary helped me. Today, when I wrote this message, I was almost giving up, but I didn’t want to give up… I’m so glad I posted here and I really appreciate all your prayers… because 5 minutes later, as I was walking to the bus, it suddenly came to me that my doubts were coming from distrust. I not only doubted if I’m in the right church, but also in God’s mercy, I thought “if I made the wrong choice, God will never pardon me, and I’ll go to hell for sure, there’s no hope for me, it’s now or never to decide, etc…” wow.

Then, while waiting for the bus, (and looking at the sunset, lol, it reminded me of God) - I made the decision to try trusting Jesus with everything. When I decided this, I felt He was helping me… at first it was hard to take that step, but then it was easier and easier. Then I said the words from the Divine Mercy devotion: “Jesus I trust in You”. And this is amazing, but right away all that confusion in my mind, all the fear, etc, left me! I think this was for the first time in days that I’ve actually felt peace.

And now I’m just holding on to that trust, and whenever I feel doubtful or afraid again, I just think “Jesus I trust in You”. And it goes away.

😃

Thank you for taking that time to pray for me, it really helped, and I see now that God doesn’t scare us into following the truth… He lead me to the Church very gently, even though I was on the wrong path before.

God bless you 🙂

O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, pay heed to my cry, turn your ear to my prayer, no deceit is on my lips. Amen

For your intentions……

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Lord Jesus, hear my prayers for these intentions. Amen

“If God brings it to you- God will bring you through it.”

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, we turn to you, O Virgins of virgins, our Mother. To you we come, before you we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, do not despise our petitions, but in your mercy hear us and answer us. Amen.

O my God, I firmly believe that you are one God in three divine Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; I believe that your divine Son became man and died for our sins, and that he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe these and all the truths which the Holy Catholic Church teaches, because you revealed them, who can neither deceive nor be deceived.

We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven:
by the power of the Holy Spirit
he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary,
and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son
he is worshipped and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. AMEN.

Divine Mercy
Eternal God,
in whom mercy is endless
and the treasury of compassion
  • inexhaustible,
    look kindly upon us
and increase Your mercy in us,
    that in difficult moments
    we might not despair
    nor become despondent,
    but with great confidence
submit ourselves to Your holy will,
which is Love and Mercy itself.
Amen

Hello there,

Just take it easy. This is a test for you. Sometimes the Lord let this happen in order to make you maturer in faith. Just like when the devil was tempting Christ in the mountain.
The devil is now gleeful that you are clinging desperately to your belief and love of the Lord.
By praying everyday and/or talking to the Lord which is another form of praying you shall close the other door which is from the devil. Win the struggle by trusting our Lord to fight for you.

Take a deep breath and do not worry too much. It’s the devil that should be worrying and bothered, you are with Christ! Peace!

I can’t really say I know how you feel because I was born of very strong Catholic parents. I was gone from the Church for years and something just kept pushing me back toward the Church. I know it was God wanting me to come back. I wonder often why I left for so long. You say God’s will be done. So true but you really have to give it up to him. Let him lead the way for you during these trying times. A year ago I knew God was with me. I thought I would lose my home and something came along. It is not really what I like or what I wanted to do but I say to Jesus “You are leading and I am following.” He will not do wrong by me. I have found I am a much better and content person. Don’t think about the devil. Anytime I would even have one thought of the devil or really thought I was being tempted I say “Jesus, Mary and Joseph” until I feel comfortable again. He can not break thorugh that barrier. You are going in the right direction. Just ignore the devil and continue to pray or repeat what I always have until you feel comfortable again. You may have to do this often for a while but in the long run you will see being a Catholic is the way for us and you.
