Really Stupid Question

HI!

Well I have noticed on quite a few peoples signatures they mention a Tiber Swim team - is this some american sports team?? Or a religious phrase! Forgive me I am Blonde but this one has confused me!!!

LOL:D … crossing the Tiber is a metaphor for converting to Catholicism. However I’m not sure where exactly where it comes from so that would be interesting to find out…
 
The Tiber is the river outside of Rome. Crossing it is a euphemism for joining Roman Catholicism.

When I first started to participate at CAF, I would see Tiber Swim Team, and I thought, “wow, such a popular high school”😊
