Reasonable priced weekend get away?

I have a ticket on Delta I was not able to use over Easter break. I can go visit Seattle as planned (when school is out), or I can find a nice weekend get away for myself somewhere else .

Delta flies to lots of interesting places, though I’d prefer a beach area. Any suggestions for a relatively inexpensive beach location?

If not a beach, somewhere else you enjoyed that has decent priced lodging?

South Padre Island has nice beaches. I don’t know how long the flight would be – if it would not be a doable weekend getaway. Also I don’t know your age so it might not be that much fun for you because it is a huge kid hangout – by that I mean college-aged kids. So if you’re one of that group, might have a blast. If you’re my age, might not be your idea of fun

I’ve heard Virginia Beach is nice or there are several areas in the South Carolina area that might have nice beaches.

padre is great if your young. if you’re in the 30+range, i’d say fly to corpus christi and stay in rockport. between those 2 places you’ll have any activity you could want beach, insdide or whaever.
