Rebuttals against pro-abortionists

I’d start with not calling them “pro-abortionists”. Nobody likes abortion, we just see it as something that exists by necessity. It’s like calling someone who’s pro-life “pro-birth” because pro-life people have a tendency to be in favor of cutting welfare services, and many of the people who get abortions come from low income homes

I see. Should I call them pro-choice then?

And whose choice are we respecting?

And why not take into account all parties involved?

Those are some really good points. What would you call people who agree with abortion then?

Many on the right call them Pro- Murder. The big thing no one seems to accept is that almost no one is Pro Abortion in that it’s a good thing and should be done often. Not at all, in fact many of the pro choice people I know are Catholics themselves who absolutely think it should be used in very rare cases, but also agree the women should be able to make the decision, thus Pro Choice.

They are certainly not for choice as the only choice in consideration denies the free choice of father and child.
In fact, the only choice in consideration is the choice of someone else’s death.

The people that want to be called pro choice in reality deny it.
 
That’s certainly going to persuade someone and not make you look self righteous at all
 
You will never make headway into the argument allowing the vocabulary to be misused.
Call it what it is.
Explain why it can be nothing else.

She actually cannot. Legally the social services in both the US and most of Europe are obligated to inform the child on the age of majority who their mother is and direct them towards them if able.

There really is no escape from the legacy they were left with.

You’re right. That’s terribly uncomfortable.

Far better to abort the child than to have an awkward coffee with it 18+ years after the delivery date…

Again, you’re spot on. Far more convenient to just kill the kid in utero.

Avoiding the slight chance of my personal discomfort is DEFINITELY worth substantially more than their chance at the extreme cosmic rarity of sentient existence.

Crazy-town.

I know no one who is prolife and in favor of cutting welfare. All the pro-life people I know support anything that protects and sustains life. That is what pro-life means.

Awkward?.. Thank you at least for letting me live. For allowing me a chance.
 
For christians or catholics ask them if it would be lawful for the Blessed Virgin Mary to abort Jesus in the womb or for St. Elizabeth to abort John the Baptist. If they say yes there must be something wrong with them because the only point of being a christian is to get to heaven and be with God. If something as horrendous as that happened do they really think that God would try to save humanity. In the book of Job it talks about how God knits us in our mothers womb. The angel Gabriel also told Zechariah that John the Baptist would be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he was born.

I think that the unborn child should get a choice since its a matter of life and death for it while for a mother its mostly convenience versus inconvenience for most cases.
