Can one receive Holy Communion in the morning and at the anticipated Mass on the same day? If i’m thinking correctly it’s really not the same day. Isn’t the evening the start of the next day? So I think it’s ok. I would appreciate your (name removed by moderator)ut.

In your example, the technicalities of when days begin and end doesn’t matter because one may receive twice in one day so long as the second time is within the context of a Mass.

You can receive twice in the same day (more often if you fall in danger of death and need last rites). The second time must be in the context of a full Mass, so not a communion service or at someone’s home when an EMHC drops by or anything.
