Guess you are not aware that some folks, as they age, are not able to wait that long. Going before they leave home does not always work. Thoughts to ponder.
I was going to point out that they also have no clue what it’s like to have special needs kids…or a baby…or all of the above.

All the time and money spent on deciding what changes need to be made will mean nothing to the Diocese I live in. Every Sunday it is something different being said during Mass. Last week we had Christ giving the cup to his friends instead of his disciples and I can’t remember what was said before the reception of Communion; only that the congregation was completely confused as to what the reply should be. I am getting very, very weary.

The only one I care about is the Nicen creed one. It should be changed back to I instead of we.

I have wondered before—and continue to wonder—why the Holy See doesn’t just chalk up the Mass of Pope Paul VI as a noble, but failed, experiment, and return to a verbatim translation of the 1965 Missal in the various world vernaculars.

Another thing that bugs me is why the US bishops (don’t get me started) have any say in how the Missal will be translated. The Vatican has issued a Latin original, why is this not simply put forth and used, instead of sending the whole thing into this committe where every bishop with an an agenda, whatever the agenda might be, has the right to vote for this or that, exclude this, include that, mess with it, tamper with it, until you get a camel that was supposed to be a horse???
