I should know this, but for some reason can’t seem to be certain. I went to a Low Mass this morning at 10:30 and received. I usually go to the Vigil Mass at 5:00pm Saturday evening. May I still be able to receive, or no since I would be receiving twice in the same day.

Yes, you may make a second reception on the same day if you assist at a later Mass.

What would qualify as assisting?
Going to the Mass in the way that you would if it were for your Sunday obligation, e.g. not just popping in for Communion.

“Assist” is an older usage that means “attend” (Spanish speakers know that “asistir” means “to attend” while “atender” means “to assist”!); you don’t have to help out or anything.

Haha whew, good thing. I don’t want to think about how rusty my Spanish has become haha.
