Can you give us more information? Lots of people take Communion several times a week , if not daily , some even twice a day

Catholicism is not about “how does it make you feel” or having “spiritual dreams”. We do not approach our faith looking for this kind of thing. God can be doing a lot in our lives while we feel absolutely nothing and dream about everyday boring stuff. Many days feel ordinary or even bad, in which case we offer up our bad feelings to the Lord as reparation for mankind’s sins.IE:

If you’re receiving daily Communion, then it is likely that you are also going to Mass every day. Mass is the highest form of Catholic prayer, so engaging in it every day as a pious practice is likely to improve your relationship with God. You are praying every day and you are making God a priority in your life because you have to make sure you’re adequately prepared for Communion daily (no mortal sins, frequent confession etc) and you need to also make time in your day to go to Mass, which sometimes is difficult to get to or a distance away.
I try to go to Mass daily and receive Communion daily because I feel I need/ want to be with God for that hour and because receiving daily Communion is part of how I pray for other people, including deceased loved ones of mine…not because I’m hoping it will make me “feel” some way or give me “dreams”

The Psalms (Chap 42) express my reason for daily mass well:
“ 2. As the deer longs for streams of water,
so my soul longs for you, O God.
