Last time I was shipped, it was by Pony Express.

Bumpy ride.

Just one reg. size at a time 'cause I can prepare at night and have fresh bread in the morning-goes well with bacon and eggs and fresh coffee! Got mine from QVC years ago. Also, you can prepare most of it ahead of time except for the liquid. Just put it in plastic bags 'and put in 'fridge. I can’t abide by the taste of store-bought bread anymore. Taste like a mouthful of chemicals.

COOKING TIP.
when buying beef, the more evenly propotioned the the fat is the better. AKA, the more marbled the better, this below is a flank of wagyu beef, see how well marbeled it is. The marbeled fat breakes down into oil, and spreads evenly into the beef which allows it to be more tender and juicy.
thanks alot

RECIPIE FOR SKILLET GARLIC BUTTER HERB POTATOES AND STEAK
INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 pound yukon gold potatoes, sliced about ½ inch in thickness
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon thyme, chopped
1 teaspoon rosemary, chopped
1 teaspoon oregano, chopped
2 lean New York Steak strip steaks
salt and pepper
Garlic Butter Compound:
¼ cup softened butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon thyme, chopped
1 teaspoon rosemary, chopped
1 teaspoon oregano, chopped

INSTRUCTIONS
In a large cast iron skillet over medium high heat, add olive oil and butter, potatoes, garlic, thyme, rosemary and oregano. Cook for about 3 minutes, stir and cook and additional 3 minutes or until fork tender. Remove and set on a plate.
Turn the skillet to high heat. Add the steaks. Cook on each side for 3 minutes or until outside is browned. Reduce heat to medium high. Cook the steaks to desired doneness. Mine took about 10 minutes flipping 3 times to get a medium well.
Right before the steaks are done, make the garlic butter compound. Mix the butter, garlic and fresh chopped herbs. Slather on top of steaks. Add the potatoes back to the pan and heat through and let the butter melt into the steaks.

Source eggs locally. Eggs are the most economic protein source most of us can find. Eggs from a real chicken are beautiful in color, the taste is rich that it does not need even salt.

If you can get Bantam eggs, all the better!

Once you begin eating eggs from happy chickens, the factory eggs in the grocery store are gross. You can taste the chemicals, that is the only flavor they have.

Good to know! My husband and I were half joking about getting some chickens at our next home when he retires.

i had a pet chicken,

turns out my mom, “ACIDENTALLY” cooked him
XD

Get used to feeding them kale, watermelon, strawberries, bananas, mixed veggies, corn and lots and lots of peaches.

And don’t be surprised if they want to be spoon fed and sung to. They will want cuddles and to come inside with you and hubby.

COOKING TIP,
looking for a burst of pimento flavor,
add all your chopped pimento 3 min before you turn off your stove
