Recommend a book explaining the parables

I need a book that explains the parables of Jesus in a Catholic way. Why? For one reason i had no idea what the parable of the Good Samaritan was actually about until the priest explained it. I was stunned…Do you have a good book in mind?

The only suggestion of anything to explain the parables (or anything Bible related) is the Haydock Bible Commentary

I have the Navarre Bible Gospels and Acts volume, and it is full of really good commentary. I also have the Ignatius Study Bible (a short volume for each of the Gospels), and it has good commentary as well. The commentary from these 2 sources rarely overlaps so I keep both volumes open at the same time when I’m researching something.
