What movie would you recommend to show to my kids (teens) about standing alone in the face of adversity?

I’ve got two titles so far: Mr. Smith Goes to Washington and 12 Angry Men. Any others?

the Shawshank Redemption is the greatest movie ever made and a must see for every generation.

Thank you, that is a good one. But I meant more in the sense of, Everyone is staring you down and you are brave enough to make a statement that everyone else is against. In Shawshank he was not completely alone as he had friends and there were others rooting for him to escape. (At least Red.)

Since this is a Catholic site I think the OP wants their kids standing up for Catholic values

Good one. Another comes to mind: Song of Bernadette (1941) or Bernadette (1988).

Luther certainly did that
No, we don’t want our children standing up “in face of adversity “.

We want them standing up for what’s right.

Being the lone pro abortion person in the room full of pro lifers is prolly not what the OP is shooting for.

Les Miserables. Victor Hugo’s novel has been filmed many times. My preference is definitely for the 1998 movie starring Liam Neeson and Geoffrey Rush.
