Reconciliation for homebound

My Mom is 91 years old. Now she is homebound. Does she need to have a priest hear her confession before she receives holy communion.?

Your priest will be happy to come hear her Confession, just schedule through the office. If she is able to get out to go to the Doctor’s office, then, you could likely make her an appointment for Confession as well if she prefers to do it at the Church.
