My understanding from reading and listening to various Jewish sources is that the Messiah:
Is to be an earthly King who will restore the tribes of Israel to full Torah observance. This never happened.
That was the mistake of the Jews who misunderstood in a worldly sense, they where only thinking about in a politically point of view and also to restore the Torah observance ,merely is absolutely wrong and worldly .As the Messiah came to restore peace and salvation to them and all the world
Isaiah 45:17 But Israel is saved by the Lord with everlasting salvation; you shall not be put to shame or confounded to all eternity.Isaiah 1:2-4 Hear, O heavens, and listen, O earth;for the Lord has spoken:I reared children and brought them up but they have rebelled against me.3 The ox knows its owner and the donkey its master’s crib;but Israel does not know,my people do not understand.4 Ah, sinful nation, people laden with iniquity, offspring who do evil, children who deal corruptly, who have forsaken the Lord, who have despised the Holy One of Israel, who are utterly estranged!
Is to be a direct descendant of King David. The Jewish law of the time would have disqualified Jesus in this instance as he was not a blood descendant of Joseph and adoption did not confer this special messianic status on the adopted child in any case.
St Joseph is a direct descendant of King David, the Jews wrongly thought in a worldly and human sense with out any faith and trust in God.but they didn’t see that’s there is nothing impossible for God Luke 1:37 . St Joseph is the Father of Jesus according to the Jews ,but we Christian know he is a foster Father,Jews rejected Jesus because of disbelief without faith, they where stubborn and proud to accept it.
Will achieve this in a single lifetime as per the Messianic requirements. This is not true of Jesus and it would seem that the messianic prophecy as per orthodox Jewish requirements does not allow for a ‘second coming’.
Psalms 2:7 I will tell of the decree of the Lord:
He said to me, “You are my son;
today I have begotten you

But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. (Matthew 24:36)

And so when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, “Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority. (Acts 1:6-7)

Hebrews 11:2-3 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 Indeed, by faith our ancestors received approval. 3 By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was made from things that are not visible

Acts 16:31 They answered, “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

It did. The lost tribes of Israel are found in protected exile within the Church. Remember, when the Northern Kingdom was attacked, these lost tribes dispersed never to be found again. These tribes are in the Church now.

The ten lost tribes were the ten of the twelve tribes of ancient Israel that were said to have been deported from the Kingdom of Israel after its conquest by the Assyrians in 722 BC. These are the tribes of Reuben, Simeon, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Manasseh and Ephraim.

There is a lot of fiction and speculation about the identity of these lost tribes, but there is no doubt that the Church contains the remnants of these tribes.

In due time, the lost tribes will be re-assembled. How this will happen is speculation and mystery at this point. A return to dedicated Torah observance by some Christians is and will be part of that mystery. In the Catholic world, the most outwardly recognizable example of this mystery would be our monastic tradition, especially the Carthusians.
Is to be a direct descendant of King David.
Christ’s genealogy is explained quite thoroughly in the New Testament. On both Jesus and Mary’s bloodlines, Christ was a direct descendant of King David.
Will achieve this in a single lifetime as per the Messianic requirements.
He did this also.
Can anyone care to help me out here?
Carefully re-read the story of Joseph and his brothers in the book of Genesis. His brothers hated Joseph, and cast him into a pit. Sound familiar?

He was later sold to into slavery and taken to Egypt, eventually sent to prison, only to later miraculously rise as the premier leader of his time in charge of the grain vaults during a protracted famine. This story is the allegory of Christ.
