Record number of people to be received into Church at Easter

A record number of people will be received into the Catholic Church in Holy Week and Easter.

Over 4,700 people took part in Rite of Election ceremonies in dioceses around England and Wales last weekend, marking a bumper year of new faithful, both catechumens and candidates for reception.

From what I’ve been reading, my local parish is also having a large group of people to be received into the Church this year. I think they said they have 30+, which is more than last year.

Even with the world in the state it’s in, the Holy Spirit is constantly working to lead people to His Church.

There seems to be a new awakening in my area. More people seem to be recognizing the deception of the shallow pop culture. I think we are on the right track.
