Pure persuasion - psychology, unleashed and licensed to manipulate the masses. As evil as capitalism is proclaimed to be, it does excel at generating wealth and “generally” preserves our freedom of choice.*

*Have never consumed a Red Bull - by choice. I let others drink it.

Haha Red Bull is vile.
Caffeine tastes much better in coffee or tea form.

I drink Red Bull because it does not my make heart hurt and left appendages go numb like Monster does. But, I miss the taste of Monster so much. Especially the lemonade ice tea kind.

I have one of these energy drinks a couple times a year when I am at a show or event in the hot sun and need a pick-me-up. Jager Bombs (Red Bull and Jagermeister) are also popular although to me they taste like cough syrup. I am not sure why one would use an energy drink as a metaphor for capitalism, but I wasn’t an English major. It sounds like the kind of idea slackers come up with after too much beer at 3 am.

I’ve never had an energy drink before but this marketing manipulation has been going on since Coca Cola! Coke is disgusting without a single redeeming quality. I don’t get why people drink so much of it.

Am I the only one who genuinely enjoys that taste of regular Red Bull?

Pickles are also popular but I don’t like them at all. And why people would eat their precursors, cucumbers, is a total mystery to me.

There are many that must enjoy it, given it has a market share and sells.

I don’t drink Red Bull often, but I like the taste of regular Red Bull. I mainly drink them when I’ve been working long days and I need a bit more of a pick-me-up than my tea will give me as the night goes on.

As a NASCAR fan, Monster is the only energy drink I’ll consume. Those Red Bull commercials aren’t so great, and I take it as an indication of how good the drink is.

All of you pooh-poohing Red Bull are forgetting the wonderful contributions the drink has made to the world of aeronautics.

Also, I kind of like the sugar-free…

I enjoy the taste of Red Bull. Drink a Vegas Bomb, maybe your opinion will change 😉

What Red Bull needs is more sugar-free/low calorie flavor options. Monster has a ton of those.

A loooooonnnng time ago I had seven of those while playing craps in Vegas. I’ve never been so sick in my life.

Young rabbit was not the smartest rabbit…lol.

I prefer Pepsi, but dont drink much of either. I find the taste pleasant, the bubbes refreshing, and (when I used to have the fully-leaded kind) the sugar rush was something

But I find energy drinks gross.

I was probably watching this video at the same time you were! Fascinating. Rory is an incredible mind and so insightful. His ability to articulate the ethereal is superb. His argument about the Doorman Fallacy is going to be useful in defending the ‘work-from-home’ forever movement because companies can now save a lot on the bottom line; yet they tend to neglect the psychological aspects and the secondary aspects that are often more valuable.

I had inclinations to some of left wing movements before moving to the West, since I moved to the West I am disappointed at Socialism, I ignore Marxism, and even have much doubts about practical implementation of Distributism.
Even if I passed through many cruel exams of life, starting from zero, working very hard, and over-sacrificing a lot, I gradually change my mind, and openly confess - capitalism is great! And, capitalism works!
