Red Envelope Today

Hi,
I don’t know if any of you are doing this, but just in case I wanted to remind you that today is the day (March 31) to send out the red envelopes. redenvelopeproject.org/
 
Still do it Sam. Just when Obama thinks it is safe to get the mail-there will be your envelope.
I wish someone had told me about a week or so ago, so I could have posted one from here.😦
 
This is the first I’ve heard of it, but it sounds great.

I won’t have the opportunity to go out and purchase red envelopes, but I’m thinking I could make my own with a piece of red paper or construction paper.

I agree! I mailed some out today, but my mil was sending me more to mail out, and they just arrived so I will be sending them out this week some time. Maybe they will be there closer to Easter Sunday. BTW, I modified the message on the back a little on mine, I have seen different versions out there.

ETA: I just got an email with this:
Get a red envelope. You can buy them at any party supply stores.
If you can’t find one, get a white one and use a crayon, red pencil, marker, etc…
If you are artistic make one with a red paper…
If you haven’t sent it yet, don’t worry, send it tomorrow, the next day…
The important thing is to send it…

On the front, address it to President Barack Obama

The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW
Washington , D.C. 20500

On the back, write the following message:**** ********

****This envelope represents one child who died because of an abortion.
********************It is empty because the life that was taken is now unable to be a part
of our world.**** ********

Mail the envelopes March 31st, 2009… ****
