I was just wondering if Jews have (or ever had) a similar concept to redemptive suffering like Christians do. What has prompted this question is the nearness of Easter and Christ’s Passion, as well as my ignorance of Jewish theological concepts as well as not having read the whole OT yet. Thanks to those who will be able to provide some answers.
