I have been off-line now for some months & doing some traveling, searching & charitable
work…
Here is the website of the only Redemtristines who still follow the original Rule of their
Foundress who was a trusted friend of St. Alphonsus Ligouri. They also use the Extraor-
dinary Form of the Mass and sing the full Divine Office according to the 1962 Rubrics
of Blessed John XXIII. Anyone knowing some Spanish might be able to pick up the
Portugese which is spoken in Brazil. I live down here & have visted them a # of times;

Oops! Forgot to mention they are located in the Apostolic Administration of Campos in
the State of Rio. There are some other active communities there also. And, hopefully,
in 2010, a new OCD Carmel will open there as well. The Founding Nuns have been in a 1990 Carmel in the South of Brazil for about 7 0r 8 years completing their formation up
through Final Solemn Vows.
