"Reform of the Reform"?

So if we are now changing the term, is this a reform of “the reform of the reform?”

There is a broader truth here that we tend to misuse, overuse, and rely too much on labels. Changes are just that. Changes. Guessing motives and trends is an exercise in futility.
Except that it might help if the changes are identified as organic, forced, natural, etc. I think we’ve learned enough psychology to realize what happens when we try to suppress something by legislation or by other means. Just my opinion.

It might help. I don’t know, and these categories themselves are neither absolute or bad. As an example of a forced change, I am reminded of the time when the Church went to communion under one species. It was much more forced than organic, but necessary to teach the truth that all of Christ is in one species. On the other hand, something being organic may not be positive, like holding hands in the Our Father. Sometimes things just change on their own from the ground up. Then, the Church accepts it as an organic change, or puts the brakes on it.
