We hear about WHO we receive. At least we do at our parish.Absolutely correct - explaining about how and WHO you are receiving has been so very neglected over these many years. It is sad that an elderly Catholic woman would be refused receiving Holy Communion; so disturbing to her - she will probably never forget it. In many instances, some people think they “know better”. Let’s get things right in line with Holy Mother Church and stop trying to twist things. Spiritually prepare for Holy Communion and physically approach Our Lord with reverence and humility. “Lord, I am not worthy that Thou shouldst enter under my roof”! (under your roof - not in your hand!)
I am talking about the mechanics of HOW.
