Hi guys,
I came across this thread earlier regarding a moral obligation to report embezzlement (it is a current thread):
forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=783493
I can see the rationality behind what nearly all posters are trying to say in response to the question.
I wanted to ask another question:
to what degree does the obligation to report unethical or illegal behavior extend to (I am referring to unethical/illegal behaviour in general and not to embezzlement nor the dilemma mentioned on that thread Iinked)? What if there is no legal or organizational requirement to make a report on the behaviour…does the obligation still remain and what considerations would you take into account when deciding?
