What is the proper way to dispose of a concentrated host offered to a patient who then regurgitates it?

Put on a glove which you should find in every hospital room pick ou the Host and place it in the Zip-lock bad that you should always carry with you when you visit the sick with Holy Communion and return it to the Church. Give it to the priest. He will most likely fill the bag with some water and let it sit for a day in a plastic container in the tabernacle. Then properly dispose of it.

I believe our folks are told to bring what they can back to the church and place it in water in a chalice until it dissolves and can be poured down the sacraium.

Again, I think the key is to do what you can…I’ve heard some horror stories about folks chasing nurses down hospital hallways for wash cloths…while very devout…might be taking it a little further than it needs to go.
