Rejoining the faith

Its been over 10 years since I’ve been to church. I recently have been going back and can honestly say that once again I am a practicing Catholic. It was no doubt the holy spirits intervention I came back to church. Now at 37 i’m in classes to be confirmed. In the many years away from God I turned my back on him, joked about his being, and questioned the authority and validity of Christ and the faith. I believe in him and I always have but in my arrogance I acted the opposite. I still have a lot of spiritual issues and questions that I ve been told to pray about. my problem is, im not so sure I know how to listen.

I was there at one time too.
You may actually find that you can hear better now - and that you will have much to offer.
