Hi everyone!

My family and I are converting to Catholicism. We couldn’t be happier and more excited. :extrahappy:However, we are experiencing some difficulties in our relationships with family and friends. We do not wish to hide this wonderful new part in our lives. Most of our friends and family are of the Protestant faith and so are very critical of our choice to join the Church. We want to continue with these relationships and we treasure these individuals. Please pray for us and our friendships. We feel that our relationship with Christ is more valuable so we are willing to accept if they do not wish to continue being friends but it still hurts. :sad_yes:Thank you! 🙂

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women and
blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Congratulations!

I am praying for you and your family (hopefully your friends will follow suit) …

Congratulations! Praying that your friends will not abandon you and your family, and if some of them do, may you make many new friends in the Church and find your strength in the Lord. May the Holy Spirit guide and protect you and your family as you prepare to make your entrance into the Church. May you and your family be abandoned to the Lord’s merciful love full of confidence in His merciful love. Amen.

Thank you all! Is there a specific prayer or saint that might help with this kind of situation?
