I agree with those who say that you connot get more close to Christ that in the Eucharist. The are other ways however, such as chatting away to Him about every-day things in your life.The ups and down the wories the fears, the joy. He knows them all already anyhow 
so just talk to Him like a friend.
Go to Adoration and just be with Him. In this last week of Lent, contemplate the Passion. Christ loves this very much.
Pray to the Holy Spirit. We received His gifts in Confirmation and we NEED then all the time. wisdom,understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord .Armed with these gifts from the Holy Spirit, we can be inspired to be the best Catholic and have the answers for those who would taunt us.
Next time someone is giving you a hard time about Lent or being a Catholic, just quietly say " Jesus loves you".
