Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for the sick members of our community and for all who are in need. Amid mental and physical suffering may they find consolation in your healing presence. Show your mercy as you close wounds, cure illness, make broken bodies whole and free downcast spirits. Prayer of Apology and Thanksgiving because of forgetfulness to say “thank You” to Our Lord for all the blessings He pours on us and we do not even realize it. 😉 🙂

please look kindly upon us,
as we ask for forgiveness for not giving You thanks.
Please receive our heartfelt apology for the lack of gratitude.

You have bestowed upon us:

the Priests who bring us the Sacraments;
