I love the Holy angels and am grateful for their tireless work.

Question: is your guardian angel with you at all times or only dispatched when you need him/her? And does each guardian angel only have one “charge” so to speak?

Pope John Paul II wrote:
“For to his angels he has given command about you… upon their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone”(cf. Ps 90-[91]:11-12). Following the Book of Daniel it can be said that the tasks of angels as ambassadors of the living God extend not only to individual human beings and to those who have special duties, but also to entire nations" (Dan 10:13-21)

According to Catholic belief and to mystic’s revelations.
  • From the moment of our conception, each one of us (as well and individual nations) has been assigned under the loving care and protection a guardian angel.(Matthew 18:10) According to mystics, the holy angel gratefully and lovingly accepts his assignment to his “charge” as a way to participate in the Redemptive salvific plan of their divine king.
  • Your guardian angel is always watching over you without losing sight of “the face of the Father who is in heaven.” For they are not bound by space and time like we are. “See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 18:10)

Oh may this sweet thought make you grow always more fond of the Cross of Jesus, this being also what your good Angel wants. May the desire to see this inseparable companion arouse in you that charity which incites you to leave this body quickly.

Oh what a holy and salutary thought it is to want to see our good Angel. It is this thought which should make us want to leave this dark prison in which we are bound. O Raffaelina, where do my thoughts fly to now…? I treat this dear little Angel, I do not say as a friend, but as one of the family. And, to tell you the truth, this little Angel does not seem to be the least little bit offended by my treatment of him. How dear and how good he is. (Letters vol. II, no. 64)

Invoke your Guardian Angel that he illuminate you and will guide you. God has given him to you for this reason. Therefore use him! ~ Send me your Guardian Angel—he doesn’t have to pay a ticket for the train and he doesn’t wear out his shoes. (underline added)

The Holy Angels must have been working overtime… the movie* “The Greatest Miracle”* is finally being released in English to the public on Nov 27th!! :extrahappy:

I believe it is going to become one of the greatest evangelization and ***catechetical ***tools of our times.

Since its release in Spanish it has been shown in Catholic parishes all over Latin America… I was blessed to see it and it is great!! It is moving priests, children and adults alike.

Edward, thanks for posting this. Recently I have been praying a lot for Mother Mary to have the Lord send angels for various things. Your post confirmed that was a good thing for me to be doing. God bless you!
