Hello! For all who listen to Relevant Radio this is a poll for you!:yup:
My favorite is Doctor Ray!

I love them all - and miss Jeff Cavins a lot!

Catholic Answers live is my #2 vote.

We are so blessed to have not only Caholic radio and TV but also wonderful Catholic Internet resources!
:yup:

How can anyone possibly choose just one of these great shows? I love 'em all! 👍

You can listen to Relevant Radio over the web. Just go to www.relevantradio.com and click on ‘Listen Live, Listen Now’. It broadcasts 24 X 7 over the internet!

Mark

Sorry to be picky, but you forgot Fr. John Corapi (10-11AM Central Time).

But I had to put Catholic Answers!

Go with God!

Yes, I know. I like him too, but they only give you seven options.:crying:
I like all of the programs too.😃

I like Open line and Father John Corapi. I especially like open line on wednesday with Father Pacwa.

I think Teresa Tomeo does a wonderful job on Morning Air. Jeff Cavins was also great, but he is really busy now with his Bible studies. Looking forward to taking part in his study of Matthew’s Gospel this fall at our parish.

I’m angry at “Relevant” Radio. They put Drew Mariani in a slot where Al Kresta should be, and then (believe it or not!) have the last hour of Drew Mariani over Catholic Answers Live. In Chicagoland we get Catholic Answers Rerun.

I don’t know how they are elsewhere, but for Chicagoland (which has three stations), it’s pretty poor, IMHO.

I agree…I also miss Al Kresta and Catholic Answers, which is rerun at 9:00 AM, but that doesn’t work for those of us who have daytime jobs. I’m in the Minneapolis area, probably the same as Chicago.

Relevant radio in Chicagoland has truly been a blessing . We all need to continue to support this type of programming.

On the other side ,however, I too think that Relevant Radio has made a mistake in programming. The Drew Mariani show seems like a fine show, however, Catholic Answers Live in drive time is far more valuable in bridging the gap between faith and everyday life. I certainly hope Karl Keating brings some of these forum comments to Relevant Radio and that we are able to get Catholic Answers Live back in Chicago during our evening drive time.
Who can or wants to listen to a Catholic Answers rerun when most folks are in the workplace or working at homeat 9:00 AM. Please Relevant Radio, here our pleas!! Peace to All! Joe V

I agree. I love all the shows and miss Jeff Cavins terribly. But I do love Teresa Tomeo, especially when she imitates her mother in her Brooklyn accent. Unfortunately, I can’t listen to Relevant Radio 24/7, as I would love to. I live at home with my mother and two sisters who haven’t bridged the gap yet. Luckily, my daughter, 8, has.

I agree that replacing Catholic Answers Live and Al Kresta with Drew Mariani is unfortunate.

I noticed a couple of times that Drew didn’t listen to his guests, that annoyed me a bit. One time there was an ethicist talking about organ donation (there was a thread on this board earlier this summer about it). The guest would make a definitive statement, and then Drew would ask if it would be ok to do something directly contradictory to what the guest Just said. Another instance was when the guest was a therapist, Drew kept calling him Doctor, even after the guest said on the air :“I’m not a doctor.”

I agree with other people on this board that Catholic Answers Live is better at Evangelatization, especially since we’ve had such weak catechesis in the past two generations.

I can’t vote in this poll fairly. I like them all. I love even our local broadcasting with Word on Fire as well as Fr.Corapi. Don’t ask me to vote in this. I am just grateful for Relevant Radio and recommend it to everyone I meet.

I notice he does this a lot actually, but I don’t think it’s because he’s not listening to the guest. I think it is just his way of asking for a more detailed explanation for WHY that definitive statement is definitive. It’s good to know the reasoning behind our faith, after all.

My favorite part of Drew’s show is when Fr. Robert Altier comes on every Tuesday. This priest is a genius; give him a listen if you haven’t already. I’m usually not too crazy about Drew, but Fr. Altier has become my favorite part of the station.

Oh…that’s a tough one! I like them all but my favorite is a tie between Open Line and Catholic Answers:D I actually just discovered relevant radio and I can’t get enough! Thanks Mark for posting the website to listen online…I am excited to be able to tune in while working now!

Can I vote a tie between Fr. Corapi and CA? 👍

I guess Drew is okay, but why did he go into all that business about the president and Skull & Bones yesterday? It’s just unnecessary.

If anything, people from Yale said President Bush wasn’t really into S&B when he was there and only joined because of his dad. And, there is no evidence whatsoever that the president was involved with freemasonry. I am tired of folks picking on a good man for things that aren’t true!

(In fact, President Bush’s daughter was picked last year for Skull & Bones, but she turned it down!)
